    Installing Xp on m15x with a SSD drive only.

    When I try and do a fresh install of XP it cant detect the SSD drive and says push d3 to exit setup, Am I pretty much stuck with vista?

    I think it should see the drive in the install without problems. I know the small asus laptop comes with ssd and xp and works fine so it should not be a problem from the xp side.

    you will need to install the drivers for the ssd before you install XP. Your ssd should have come with docs. When you boot with your XP disc there is an option if you would like to install third party driver press * I don't remember what the key is but that will get you going and allow you to install the driver and let xp see ur drive.

    Edit: I forgot to ask you got the M15X with the SSD?
