    Hey guys.

I have an m17x with dual 280Ms and the 3ghz dual core processer.

It seems that if at any point I turn on the machine with the mains unplugged, from then on the main gfx cards will ALWAYS be turned off - no matter how many times I restart the computer with the graphics on.

The only thing which sometimes works is to turn Stealth Mode "on", and then turn it off with a restart.

Another thread suggested turning off the 9400M in the bios... I guess that's what I'll try next, but would prefer a less crazy solution - I like the idea of using int. gfx when the power is off!

    Thanks,
    Ian

    Hey guys.

So I'm having this problem where I don't seem to be able to get out of Stealth Mode. I turned on the SLI 280Ms in the Bios, and they're now working it seems, but the computer is still MUCH slower, so I'm guessing the processor has been stepped down. Really doing my head in - what can I do?

Make sure Hybrid Graphics and Integrated Graphics are enabled in the BIOS. Either that, or disable BOTH to turn off/not use the 9400.

Once back in the OS, depress the Stealth Mode button - if you see a dialog box similar the one I am attaching, then Stealth Mode is not active - read the dialog box in the screenshot...
