Hi guys, i'm just about to step over the brink and buy 4 m11x's from the states (i live in sunny ol' england) and wanted to check whether or not the standard warrenty will cover me here should i have a problem (thinking hinge). Obviously dell have a pretty large operation in the UK so they do have the services in place, but as a secondary question what would happen if i was to move to an african country or far east where dell sells through a 3rd party or something, would the warrenty cover me, and if so would it mean having to send it to america and wait years for a replacement?
Sorry if this is a copy of another thread but to be painfully honest the search function on this site is as useful as the queen is to national defense (or anything else really for that matter)
Thanks in advance guys/girls

I think in my giddy -first-post- excitement i missed another front page article that i think (he was french so i can't understand/be sure) was asking a similar thing, the answer given was a transfer of ownership form would do the trick? would i still need to do that if i was buying them myself in the states and then bringing them back with me or would the warrenty automatically cover me worldwide?

review the information for your region. if you still have questions, contact support/sales/warranty folks @ Dell.
Thanks.
