    Just wondering if anyone with the M17 with 1440x900 res can confirm if its glossy or matte.

    If I ordered one, would go with 1440. Just wondering, thx. :D

    @Fox,

    Thx, but they are discussing AWs Clearview, guess that's what they are calling glossy.

    I understand the difference in glossy (clearview etc) & matte, but if the 1440 res is matte, I wouldn't be interested in that.

    On the order form for the M17, 1920x1200 says Clearview, and 1440x900 doesn't. So I was just checking to see it was actually glossy also. Dunno why they wouldn't give 1440 in glossy, matte stinks other than for netbooks. :)

    I was in the same pool as you. That was actually a thread that I started.

    Anyways, I decided to go with the Clearview. I don't care too much about glossy vs. matte, it's just that glossy is brighter and more vibrant.
