    Is M17 Upgradable to 8 GB of DDR3 RAM?

    Sorry I am new to the forums and this may have already been covered...I looked through the sticky and did not find it!! Is 8Gb of Ram possible with the M17 or is it maxed out at 4Gb? I just ordered my laptop the other day and it is in Phase 4 or 5 I think (haven't checked today) and should be coming next week some time. I am new to this gaming laptop stuff and I purchased the 2.0Ghz Quad and 64bit and I heard a rumor that 8Gb's was possible even if they only offer 4Gb's please help!! Great forums by the way helped out alot with purchase!!

    4GB RAM modules for DDR3 will be out soon, yes. two of those will give you 8GB total with a 64bit OS. not that you'd need it of course.

    on a side note, your sig could be considered just a wee bit ostentatious :)

    With my setup will I be able to play Crysis and Legendary ok...I know I ordered the slow Quad, though I will be ordering the QX9300 in couple of months...I may be off topic is there any other forums I should look at for specs on my setup?
