I have a 15.4" laptop backpack that I really want to use, but I've heard this is a big 15.4" notebook. Will it fit? (Say yes.... )

Don't know but that the surge was the same bag I wanted. Just don't have a whole lot of money to get it yet!

I got the Targus bag for the laptop initially- but it was a real tight fit. The zipper used to graze off the corner of the laptop and there wasnt a whole lot that you could put in the bag after you had stuffed the laptop in. I replaced it at Best Buy for an INIT bag and that was even more horrible. Now looking at other options.

I just got my M15X today and I have a new targus backpack too. but, a different model. Fits really well with the alienware sleeve on it.

Yep - Marcham89 - That is the same model as the Targus which I had. It is the Targus - Groove Notebook Backpack. This one can fit the m15x but it is a very very TIGHT fit. You have to be careful while opening and closing the bag and also not plan on carrying anyting else but the laptop.

Opinions do not conflict. Dagixxerkid2 has a different model of the Targus backpack. Please read carefully.

You are correct. Sorry. Thanks, I guess I have to return the bag (I was going to stuff it with books and use it around campus) for a new one.

i bought the Booq Python XL and a Belkin Neoprene Sleeve... fairly expensive but fits nicely. The bag is huge but i like it a lot. I keep the sleeve in the laptop compartment with it's side unzipped. I just drop the laptop in and pull it out without removing the sleeve from the bag.

Does anyone have expeerience with bags (especially messenger bags) from crumpler? I once ordered a Silver Dig L and my old 15,4" notebook fittet well but the bag was too small for other stuff and I had to send it back then... So I'm afraid to order out of the blue again...
