Is anyone else's keyboard noticeably dimmer at the bottom than at the top?

I just got a new m15X, and I'm noticing (in addition to mild keyboard flexing) that the spacebar and a few other keys at the bottom of my keyboard are much dimmer than the rest of the keys. It looks like it might be that way on purpose, but its started to annoy me a little bit. Anyone else notice this? I can try and get pictures, but they aren't very clear.

Also, this isn't the same as the glitch where a certain sector of the keyboard is dimmed for no apparent reason. It doesn't go away when I refresh the lights or restart the computer. Thanks for any input!

It's not normal.. Al the lighting "should" be somewhat even.. I don't notice a dimmer area on my keyboard, but my lights are noticably dimmer on my M17x R2 than my R1.

For the M15x it's normal. It's been like that since it was released. Dell never went out to change it....

I've read lots of reviews complaining about that. I thinks because the LED's are at the top.

It's not the bothersome kind of noticeable to everyone. I'm kinda a perfectionist so to me it was a very noticeable but I've learned to live with it lol.

I find it gets better or worse for me depending on which colour I use. I was using all red, and it was incredibly faded on the space bar, so I switched to dark blue, which improved things and seems o be a more constant brightness.

Yeah, I keep mine at green because on mine that's the brightest.

On my m17x r2 the only colors i can have active are pink/purple/red/orange... if i put on any other the colors become weird (fx. when i put on plain white or yellow for some reason the red color turns them into orange-ish) and stuff.
And yeah, the lights are pretty dimm, wasnt expecting that at all.
