Is it just me or is AlienFX extremely glitchy?

I've only had my m15x for 10 days and for the most part I really like it (although I'm considering returning it for a m17x but that's another story). When I ordered it the least important thing to me was the lighting but I found myself playing around with it almost immediately. However, sometimes themes I create flicker oddly, sections don't light up, or colors don't transition correctly. Sometimes recreating themes fixes it or sometimes it just resolves on it's own. Also, sometimes on boot only a small section of the keyboard lights up until after windows boots. I would think by now that frequent glitches like this would have been ironed out considering how long the technology has been out. Am I alone in this? I guess it's possible I have a bad controller or install or something.

It is glitchy at times, no doubt. The older M17X R1 was way better in that aspect. I ended up removing the CC entirely on the R2. No issues ever since, lol

yeah its glitchy, especially if you use any kind of morphing theme. but overall with the A05 bios alienfx has been pretty good.

It's not just you. Disable all that nonsense from automatically starting up. And when you want to change the colors just open AlienFX and then close it again until next time.

Now, not that the M17x-R2 or the M15x have stuttering issues but use this to disable the Face Recognition and the AlienFX and have them running only on demand:

Steps 1 and 2 are for your own good

    From our trusty mod ;)

As much as I thought it was kinda cool playing with morphing themes I did find it distracting when trying to do anything. I think I'll take your advice and disable it all on startup and just change colors as needed.

    Thanks for the advice guys!

Yep I notice the glitching as well. Hopefully we get a more stable one sometime soon.
