I'm in the process of finishing up the benchmarking and all that is left is the gpu test and i noticed that my bios is x32P3 is that the same this as x32RC1? Or should i update the bios to the x32RC1?
Thx in advance!

Where are you seeing this BIOS?
-
in CPU-Z, But to be honest i'm not really sure when to check which actual bios is install. Err and that should say x32RC1 not 2 my mistake
-
whichever one is on your Alienware Hive's page is the right one, on my page it say's x32 RC1, probably just CPU-Z calling it something slightly different.
-
RC1 was a release candidate. If it shipped with your machine, it's probably the final, and has been labeled to indicate something more firm than a release-candidate. It's the same essential thing - or else it would be called something other than X32.

im using x32 P3 and there hasnt been a problem with my laptop yet. i didnt know there were two versions of the x32 bios
-
If you go to the Bios you will be able to clear it out.
-
Well i just decided to jsut go to the actual bios screen and find out what bios version it is. It is vX32 P3A33, so i guess since it is a x32 bios and not a x30 one i'll just leave it. So on to my last benchmark, monitoring the GPU temps with Age of Conan.

don't worry Syth I just checked mine and I have the same as u and I know for a fact I installed RC1
-
kk, umm one more question. How the heck to i get the monitor/display up with rivatuner... i just can' find it in the options anywhere. Maybe i dled the wrong thing? (dled this: http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=163)

I have X32 P3 BIOS too.
-
Well... on the tab where your GPU's name is displayed (in Rivatuner), press the little button on the right of it... Several icons will come up and one will give you the graphs you are looking for. Don't be afraid to press any of them to find out the one you want.

ahh ok there it is
K final test time!
Is the X32P3 BIOS the same as X32RC2?
