    Is there a Video Tutorial to replace M17x CPU?

    Im not to good with upgrading components on laptops, but im sure if someone can make a tutorial, it'll be much easier. I figure it may be cheaper if I get the cheapest cpu and upgrade it myself. If someone can make a step by step tutorial on how to do this please send me the link. I already tried youtube and I couldn't find any relating to the m17x. Can you also send me a link of processors that are compatible with this laptop. I know that this will void the warranty, but ill just switch them back if anything happens.

    I know im a noob at this, but any help will be greatly appreciated!!

    the m17x manual that was posted on here has detailed pictures. I used it and easily changed out my processor.

    Butter was apprehensive about doing it so I made my own writeup to help him. Since then a few others have requested to see the doc. There are some basics missing from the manual that someone with no experience might not know how to do.
