Mind you, I'm a very fast typer. I had an m15x (great computer) I bought last summer, and I noticed I had to type noticeably slower for all my keypresses to register. Typing as I would on any other computer amounts to a startlingly high level of missed keys. I sold my m15x two months ago to make room for the m17x I have today, and, low and behold, I'm noticing the same problem.

This is a example of whatI mean. Notice how cetain key presses aren't registeing whe I type fast.

This does not occur on any other laptop or keyboard I've ever used. I find it strange. Does anyone else notice something like this?

I do know what you are talking about, I don't think it is actually the keyboard. You just need to press the keys a little harder to get them to register. When you are typing fast you might not hit the key hard enough for it to register. I had the same problem when I got mine but after using it for awhile I got used to pressing the keys a little harder and don't have this problem anymore.

I have kinda noticed the same thing. I can reproduce it if i press on the corner of a key. It makes a click but no keypress unless you hit it in the middle. Try pressing a key on the corners and see what I mean. I use a Logitech dinovo bluetooth keyboard when I have a long typing session.

I have A03 and this still occurs to me.
I just think it takes a bit to get accustomed to but over time i've gotten used to pressing the keys harder.

The only thing i haven't gotten used to is when pressing shift to make a capital letter it tends to register the shift press longer than it should and i end up typing the first 2 or 3 letters in capitals. =/

*Off topic* Archaon, from your avatar i can see you're a fan of Sonata Arctica too, yes?

Do you have a tv tuner installed?

I had this problem with my m17 6 months after from when I first got it. Sure our systems aren't exactly the same, but if it helped me it's definitely worth the try.

Yes - these are far from Lenovo Thinkpad keyboards.
