My video card is going bad?

I find that randomly my screen will look like this, is it normal? or is it a sign that my video card is going bad?

EDIT* I am referring to what looks like rays of sunlight going diagonal across my screen.

Did you do a in-system screen shot? That probably won't caputre any graphical anomalies.

Looking at what you posted, it looks perfectly normal.

That's just the Aero glass effect when you hover your mouse over the bottom right corner.

Just in case someone doesnt know, it functions as Show Desktop in XP and Vista. Click on it and Desktop will be the on top of other windows.
And again, just in case someone doesnt know, move your window to either the left or the right will make it half-open, very convenient for comparing and editting document. Move it to top of the screen will maximize it, move it off will bring it back to normal state. Shake the window will make other windows minimize, shake again they will reappear :)

Thats one reason I love Windows 7 much more over Vista.

The thing was, I had set my computer down, and didn't even know where the mouse ended up, and if you have firefox running and are downloading, if you highlight over the download it will bring back the rays of light also.

But yeah, I feel dumb, but I thought it might be my video card, because lately my temps at idle have been 70+.
