    I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.
Whenever I get to the windows logo page (when it shows the windows blue background with logo) my screen goes black for 2-3 seconds and then goes into the windows login screen (where I usually enter my PW).
Anyone has this thing happening to them?

Are you using "Boost Performance" for your graphics mode? That makes the screen go blank for few second. This is what I found out. Try using "save power.." and if the screen goes black post it here again. Someone else may have the solution.

Yeah. With Boost Performance thats extremely normal. If in other mode it happens then its not normal.

This will happen if you have the 9400M G enabled. You can disable both HybridSLI and Integrated Graphics in the BIOS to prevent this. If you do, the system will not use the 9400M G and run only on the discrete GPU(s).

It's perfectly normal and nothing to worry about.

It happens with Hybrid Graphics enabled in BIOS and you've set the power profile in Windows to use the discrete video card(s). The PC boots into Windows using the integrated 9400M G video chip and the Nvidia driver switches it's display output from the 9400 over to the discrete graphic card(s) (280M, 260M, SLI, etc.) in Windows. This causes the screen to go blank for a couple of seconds during the process in which the integrated video card is being put to sleep, the discrete video card(s) powered up and the display output switched from integrated to discrete.
If it's too annoying to you and you never use the 9400M, do as Batboy said and disable Hybrid Graphics and Integrated Graphics in the BIOS. Otherwise, feel free to leave it on and endure the short blackout at windows start.
