Lessthanadrianocho, to add to the others' questions, how much of your system resources are being used at idle? You can check this with the task manager.

UPDATE: on issue3
Roswell told me that they couldn't tell from the pictures if the paint is peeled off by itself or by damage done by me. So I will have to send back the laptop to let them inspect to see. And if they think the peel is done by me, then they will have to charge me.
I told them there was no scratch or dent or any damage to the laptop, the paint is just peeled off by itself, but there is no way I can prove it. It's all at their discretion.
On top of that, before they gave me such answer, I told them I wouldn't send this back for 3 weeks to repair anyways, I just want to report to them that there are such problems. I guess they didn't take that as in good will. I told them I would ask for repair if the problem gets worse or the peel gets very big. -
I have also have your Issue #4. I've noticed it never goes to sleep, nor does the alienhead ever go dark, unless I shutdown the box. I've set my power settings so that the box should hibernte, disks spindown, etc, after 1 hour. No luck. Fans always run, alien always glows.

Has anyone had the problem of a sticky spacebar?
Every once in a while, after I have left my spacebar untouched it will stay stuck when i press it. If I don't touch it it releases itself in a couple of seconds. -
I have a bright red stuck pixel in the lower lower left hand corner of the LCD screen.
Alienware wont replace it. I tried all the tools out there to try to get it to go away. Can't see it..only when the screen is totally black, but it is there.
DEll just replaced my LCD on my 1640 Laptop with no questions asked and had a tech come to my house the next day with the new LCD.
Same compnay ..right?
