I find some of the keys quite unresponsive, especially backspace and the space bar.
Anyone else having similar issues? And does anyone know of a solution? I mean should i speak with AW about this?

uninstall the touch pad driver... fixes it for most people
this will remove some of the functionality of the touch pad but .. like virtual scrolling n stuff. -
I believe this was all sorted on the x32 BIOS. You are definately on that BIOS currently??
-
it was not ! I upgraded to x32 after I received the m15x and I had these issues! First after I uninstalled the touchpad drivers the keyboard behaveD properly!
-
Yes, several people are experiencing these issues, and they are the reason I returned my m15x.
edit: and yes, getting rid of the synaptics drivers does seem to fix it for most people..but then of course you lose digitial scrolling, and the ability to turn off tap clicking if you're not a fan of it. I think I was the first person to discover this connection, if I may toot my own horn here. -
AW-Steve said that they are working on this
-
Will try upgrading bios today and remove the driver, will post back my results. thanks for the input.
-
I've updated the bios and this seems to of solved the problem. If i notice any more issues i'll try the drivers, thanks everyone!
-
so x32 is a fix for this?
-
well, I can't say I remember a drastic difference with X32, but I mean I haven't had a skipped key for at least the past few days, which is an insanely low amount (I haven't quite had a streak like this before)
-
callidor missing his m15x already <_> unlucky mate
-
SO GRB would you say X32 fixed your keyboard issues?
-
Actually, though, I'm very excited to get my Sager, which you can see by my sig is going to be quite a bit more powerful than my m15x. I'm really just interested to watch the progress of this problem as it was what caused me to make my decision. As I said though, I still think it's a blessing in disguise that I was able to find the Sager. -
-
I think the x32 certainly helped, but it's not a fix. I personally left the drivers alone and it does skip a little bit still, but not often.
-
that really weird cause I got mine back in mid FEB and I never had a problem. Not sure if i'm typing as fast as you guys or what but i'm somewhere between 60wpm and 50wmp
-
I agree with Lessaj. All I know is that things have certainly improved over time, but what things have fixed it, I have no idea.
edit: taco I'm usually going at about 70-100 wpm (it's a wide range but it depends what I'm typing) -
Congrats Callidor, I know it must have been a big pain to send back your m15x. But, the Sager is a lot stronger than your m15x, so you'll forget about the m15x pretty fast.
@GRB- I don't any keyboard problems with mines. There is no lagging at all. And I type pretty fast too.
Also I got my touchbutton issues fixed. All I had to do was to disable my bluetooth. And when my lappy wakes up from sleep the touch buttons work just swell. -
Nor do I... anymore. How it fixed itself, I dunno
And the touchbutton issue (with sleep) was definitely fixed with X32 -
I'm running mines with the stock X30 bios. I'll wait until the final release.
-
Could have been at X30. I didn't check the issue when I upgraded to X30 (only noticed it by the time I got to X32)
-
nope, x32 did not solve this issue for me. It was meant as an update for the overclocking issue as far as the roswell agent told me, not as a fix for the keyboard... if you recall, they were not aware of the keyboard then.
