You should of posted on here before you bought it.
We would of told you not to buy the ram from them, and upgrade yourself - would of saved you a couple of hundred bucks, and used the extra bucks to upgrade to the 9800gt.
Also, you DID get the ALienFX keyboard, right?

But nice system all the same..

AlienFX all the way, When I first saw the fact that the keyboard and sides lit up my mouth started to water. I really didn't care on the color, I assumed that you can change that later. Yeah... I wish I would have known about the ram earlier but, nothing I really can do about it now.

I still am stoked, kinda curious on the vid card power now.

Okay... will I be able to play games at good quality on the 8700gt?

I have the same gpu, runs games on pretty high settings, but the 8800m gtx is said to be twice as powerful as our 8700m gt. I'm very satisfied with my m15x, even though it has a lower processor then yours and the same video card. I do eventually hope to upgrade the gpu to an 8800m gtx. The cpu I'm not that worried about, but I may eventually upgrade it as well.

The 8700 is basically just an overclocked 8600gt.

You should be able to play good quality, but not maxed out (at least, not the newer games)/

if it hasn't shipped yet then you can cancel and reorder and use the 200 you save to get the 9800gt its really worth it :D

opps just re read the title ....lol

the 8700 will play most games on medium to high settings and lower games like wow on high

    not a bad choice

    congratz you'll love it
