    I have been wanting a AW laptop for as long as I can remember, but now it's finally happening. After reading a lot of info on these boards I decided to go with the m17x.
    Phase 3 starts today! I can't wait!

    Tasty except for the 320GB raid. I would just buy (1) 320GB drive. Raid really doesn't have the benefits that most people think it does and it increases your drive fail rate too 0_0.

    I'd love a machine like that, except i don't have the money. I got the m15x instead with just 1 8800 gtx and a 2.1 processor. I'm pretty happy, but am still jealous of yours.

    I support you. Most of the time, there won't be any difference in performance. But it's his own money he's spending and if RAID makes him happy, then so be it. Good luck with your m17x.
