    Hello,

I would like to ask you a simple question because I'm not really familiar with the kind of laptop that Alienware is... I know it's an extremely powerful laptop for playing games, but can it be used also to do some more "normal" things? I mean, should it be used only for playing games, or can it be used very well to write some texts (for example, with Office installed...) and do more common stuff as just chatting, working and going on the Internet, too?

I know it can seems weird that I ask such a question, but I'd like to be sure because I don't know much of Alienware than that it's "the best thing for gaming".

Thank you very much for your help!

Any computer that excels in gaming is also more than powerful enough for every other non-gaming related task.

If a computer is powerful (what's required for gaming), everything else is handled with ease.

Hell, even the M11x will do Word 2010 at a constant 60fps with all the settings at max.
