the Dell Outlet about 10 minutes ago.

Anyone's opinion on if I got a good deal or not?

    M17X - Lunar Silver
    T9800 Processor
    slot load DVD/RW
    4GB Ram 1066
    320GB 7200 HDD
    Dual 1GB Nvidia 260M

It was about $1800 before my discounts, which were..

15% Dell Outlet Coupon (from Ejunkie for free!)
    2% DPA discount.

So it was around $1500 after discounts..

Kind of wanted to hold out for a black one, and a Blu-Ray writer, but they went fast. Most I saw had Q9000 anyway..

If you bought the same laptop new you would've paid close to $1000 more. I think you got a nice bargain on it. :D

People who are so hyped about the new ASUS laptop or the M17x refresh, they are missing these awesome deals right now. For $1500 you can not get a system performs as good as these anywhere.

Thanks guys...Currently have an ASUS G51, and was thinking about getting a newer 17" Asus from Best Buy, but it's good to know that i would be paying about the same for less!

Also, why are the XPS 1730's in the outlet so much more expensive than the M17x's...isn't that older technology?

I've been saying that for like two weeks now. As soon as CES started all the "older" items will have huge discounts.

I just checked myself. And it looks like there aren't any for sale right now. Might be updating their inventory or maybe they're all sold.

I've been checking periodically for the past couple of days, and haven't seen any M17x's available.

    Maybe it's a region-based thing?

They pulled all the AW m17x systems due a 15% off coupon that was causing a huge discount. Those will come back once the coupons expire. I got increadible prices. I am not going to give you any pricing but 50% discount on the MSRP was a bad deal for me.

I couldn't find any at first either, but what I did is go to the memory option for the graphics card, and put in 1GB, and keep refreshing, they would eventually come up. I believe it was somewhere 20-30 minutes before they were refreshed..
