This is my 2nd time in 3 days formatting my M15x. When I first put in the support cd when I got to step 2 ( installing graphics drivers) I tried to install the Intels Graphics driver first but I got the following message: "This computer does not meet the minimum requirments for installing the software, setup will exit." Oceanus informed me that I should install the OSD first and I did do this so I dont know what is going on.

Also when I resart the computer I get a popup that sais

The source was not found, but some or all logs could not be searched. Inaccessible logs: Security.

I had the same message on my last format and I have no idea what I should do anymore. Im thinking since my stealth mode doesnt work I can just send it in the Alienware and wait a year until they send it back to me fixed...But I dont want to do that.

The first thing I just did Fn+f7 and switched video cards then installed it, then second thing I have absolutley no idea how i fixed it, its just one of those things that go away by itself and you have no idea what you did right.

    i hate computers lol

Did you turn it on by using the left mouse button, because that automatically boots it into intergrated..

whizzo, I have contact AW tech support and they say it's not possible to use right mouse button to boot into integrated mode, since it's not possible to switch between graphics card in BIOS state yet...don't fool anyone anymore, because I couldn't switch from that either...

Actually Whizzo isn't wrong. I am able to do it. I can boot up into integrated graphics mode when the computer is off, by holding down the right click button on the touchpad. Try it. I'm on Vista. I dunno about XP.

i'll have none of that. it works on Vista, because the right mouse button functions as a shortcut for Vista Media Center.

I can vouch that it works on XP as well. You just have to press down the touchpad button for a little while before it boots up into integrated graphics. I personally can't remember if it was the left or the right button that turns it on, but you can try doing either one of them to see if it boots up for you.

It's definately the right button that boots it into intergrated. Very handy feature imo.

Umm just to add to this, the right click DEFINITELY goes into integrated don't buy into the alienware cs bull. Right click is OS independent.

*shrug* You could always try booting it up using the right click button when it's already on Integrated to see if it switches back. If it doesn't, then yeah, you're going to need to switch it back using FN+F7.

i think that if you're on the dedicated card, shut down, boot with the right mouse buton into integrated mode, and then shut down again, that you don't have to press anything but the Alienhead to boot with the dedicated card.
