Hey guys
I've been lurking on this site for quite a while now, after having discovered it while researching the m15x. This place has really helped me with configuring my m15x, so I just wanted to say thanks to all you guys (and girls).
I know you all must be sick of newbies posting their system specs, so feel free to look away... I'm just too excited![]()
I decided to go for a sorta medium-high config. I'm gonna upgrade the RAM to 4gb myself, no point in wasting money and having AW do it. I'm really looking forward to this baby, it's gonna be my first gaming laptop. Anyway, just wanted to again say thanks to all of you, and I hope you're all enjoying your Alienwares.Let's just hope AW doesn't take it's time getting my machine to Switzerland...

plus i only have the cheaper screen, the 2.5ghz CPU, the 160gb harddrive, not turbomemory etc...

Good idea getting the 4GB RAM.. I was surprised when I read you're only getting yours with 1GB at first

@Whizzo - congrats on the purchase! Welcome to the club -
I actually enjoy the posts of other's specs, just so I can fine tune mine after hearing what you guys have to say when you receive the system.
And now that the issue with downclocking does seem to be getting the support it needs, I'm all down for getting mine. Just need to get the money for it! -
Hi whizzo
welcome to the forum
nice config. i should be getting mine on monday.
must admit im slightly disheartened now after such a long wait. i should have received it on the 4th april but better late than never.
i bet once the dhl van pulls up outside my house i will soon start getting excited and ill be like a kid in a chocolate factory.
Just pulled the trigger...
