well, ive been trying to fix this myself for about a week now by looking over all the other keyboard FX problems.. without much luck..

it must be a something im just over-looking.. (like it always is) but i dont know what to do next.. all the lights except my keyboard ones work..

i do remember editing the registries for my keyboard before the problem occured.. under: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\i8042prt\Parameters

i changed the OverrideKeyboardType form 7 to 1 attempting to use my other keyboard.. i then changed it back after a reboot and have rebooted since then.

this may be the problem but ive tried multiple ways of fixing or restoring back to previous settings but couldn't. it is most likely a simple solution because of the fact that ive just received this "Amazing" Laptop about 2 weeks ago and have yet to come across any source of virus or malware.

one thing i have not done though is try reinstalling command center but before i do so.. would anyone have any better suggestions?

It'll take about 5 mins to reinstalling command center so why don't you just give it a shot :D

my keyboard can not identify my keyboard ????

i am lost ...just redo command center...it is proved that the fx chip is actually on the motherboard and if it has worked before and there are still some lights working ...your in luck...just redo ur osd and command center...if your having trouble ...feel free to call ..1-866-287-6727 ...
