    Does Alienware use LED backlighting for any of their notebooks?

    I am curious as well. too expensive for a 3K laptop?

    I would also like to see them use lithium polymer batteries to reduce that weight by alot.

    It would be a $3200 laptop if they did. They just did not add it yet. LED screens are not that common yet for laptops.

    they seem to be creeping in fairly quickly though. it will be a welcomed laptop technology norm.
