I've always wanted to see my computer on a massive screen and with the m15x ( which has a HDMI port )

So will i be able to use a basic HDMI cable from the laptop, to the 50" screen?
And, will i need a seperate cable for sound?

Yes you will be able to hook up your M15x to your 50" screen. You can buy a HDMI cable from monoprice.com for around $6 instead of bestbuy where you will most likely pay $60 - $80.

You will not need a separate cable for sound because HDMI carries video and audio. Something that you should probably know is that HDMI and DVI are both the same cable, except that HDMI carries audio while DVI does not.

You will have to match the resolution too.It didn't work on mine because the TV wouldn't take the resolution of the computer.

WHen you use the HDMI cable... is it duo screens or is the laptop screen transfered to the TV only.

    I prefer duo screens.

Well its basicly duo screens. But one of them is massive and one is tiny :p
So i guess the big one for games and the small one for forums :>

You can do that, or you can have them mirror (i.e. show the same thing on both TV and laptop)

    Awesome...

What's this option I hear about in WoW where you can play with dual screens?

In which one screen is the normal WoW screen and the other shows your inventory and etc?

@Daweism - I am guessing that the thing you are talking about is a WOW Addon or something as just stretching it on the dual display won't do that.

Edit: Found it, seems pretty damn sweet. http://youtube.com/watch?v=kUJsbZaUNGg
