I have a 51m for gaming (not very often) and a pixelbook for media/browsing.

I was trying to see if there was any decent middle ground device where i could do my ultrabook stuff on the go and light gaming occasionally. i would like to run pop_os as well.

I was looking at the xps 15 and 13 as they should get the best battery life so i dont have to tied to the wall (like the 51m), but then i was reading comments on how theyre not gonna game very well. Keep in mind all im aiming for is medium setting in things like monster hunter, genshin, resident evil 8.

Dell has some decent deals on the M15 r3 and r4 but im worried they will die quickly on battery even when not gamming. Any advice?

I dont do rendering or anything demanding just web browsing and youtube, maybe light coding in the future (just python).

Dell compromised the battery again in the latest m15/m17 models, however, if you pick a 144Hz panel without gsync you should be fine.
