    Hey Guys -

Im going to get a A/V reciever for my M17x so I can get "true" digital 5.1 surround sound and SACD playback from my laptop for all the music I have on here, however I had a question about the safeness of this...

Question: Is there anything I have to worry about regarding this? (example, do I need to turn my laptop on 1st before the reciever, or vise versa...Do I need to turn the receiver off "before" my laptop?)

Technically, is there anyway that I could fry my laptop?

    thanks

No safety risks at all, I'd turn the AVR first simply so your graphics drivers dont throw a fit :D
