I've had this notebook for about 3 weeks now and i've noticed my problem during movies/game cut-scenes. Every now and then there is a horizontal line that travels upwards. (It all depends on how much is going on in the movie/cutscene) It's like a tiny wave, more annoying than anything..

(EDIT: Motion blur is another thing - but only once again when things get moving fast and whatnot.)

Its def. not screen tearing although I do happen to have screen tearing problems on the two games I play. Is screen tearing normal for Aion And MWF2?

I understand that vsync will fix the screen tearing... But I'm not sure if its normal.

    My system specs are this.

    m17x
    dual 260m running in SLI.
    2.8 dual core.
    4 gigs of ram.
    (Edit)
    Running Vista 64 bit.

I'd really like to know if i've got a faulty video cards or not... It does it when not in sli also.

    Thanks!

Test with an external monitor first. If you still see artifacts it has something to do with the video card.
