    Locks that work for the m15x

    Can anybody provide links to locks that DO work for the m15x?

    try the one on the AW website.
    the expandable locks work but the kensington locks that turn dont.
    the kensington locks that come with a bright orange bit of plastic can be modded with a stanley knife so they will fit and turn in the whole. you just have to cut a little of the orange plastic away and it will work.

    we only found 2 that will actually work. i forgot what they are but if you do a bit of scavenger hunting on the forum you should be able to find it.

    I have the targus defcon CL lock. Tight fit, but works fine.

    So there is only 1 lock that works for the m15x? that sounds weird but at lest we have one. . .

    And not everyone that tried that lock managed to get it to work...

    Bottom line... If the locks are moded to shorten the rubber protectors that prevent the metal lock head of coming in direct contact with the laptop, more will work with the m15x.

    yep its the second one i had and it didnt work BUT after modding it and cutting down the plastic bit that touches the side of the laptop it will then work weve been told. i gave mine back as i didnt have my m15x long enough.
