ive been wanting to install windows x64 on my alienware m15x but ive not been entirely sure on how to go about it

would it be better to use alien respawn to roll back to factory settings as i got it and then install vista x64 or jus install vista x64 over x32 after ive backed everything up?

    all help is really appreciated

there's no benefit to using respawn...just back up your data, make sure you have the 64bit drivers for your rig, format your hd and install vista 64...you should be good to go then
Also...if you look back through the forums there is a thread that discusses installing vista 64 on the m15:

    good luck

Best option would be to reformat and install Win x64 you will also find many threads on how to install Win x64 on M15x. A video demo or thread would be best to avoid any mistakes.

Good luck with the installation Zuber-poober
