Ever since I've gotten my M17, my HDR scores have been low. I'm just curious if there's something wrong with it.

What kind of hardware is in your M17?
-
Alienware scores are usually higher then what it should be, you should worry more about game performance, thats where it counts.
-What are your specs though? -
-
HDR/SM3.0 Score: 6,563.00
HDR/SM3.0 Score 6,528.00
35 point differnce is not a huge difference
yea AW pumps there benchmarks up .... -
Setup is P8400/Crossfire/4GB/320(7200RPM) -
I dunno, how but Alienware scores are always higher then they should be.
-
11k for a 2.26ghz cpu is not that bad i guess? All depends on the software that runs activly in the background while you do these tests.

What i resolution you have it at?
-
take into account rez setting and if you have other programs running at the same time.
-
With disabeleing everything not important I got a good score very near to the AW with the AW driver and my old M17 (same config as you have)

The first score with P8200 was 11,100 by AW and I got 11,091 -
Alienware tests the machines at a different resolution i think. mine by default scored 8400 marks on Alienwares tests, and all i did was install firefox and 3dmark06 and i recieved 7900 marks. that was average for the stock driver at the time.
of course, now i have it at 8700 marks. drivers can do a world of difference! -
Mine was at 1280X720
Low HDR scores
