Well after much anticipation i got my m11x and guess what. Power it on, 4 beeps and the screen never comes on. All the keyboard lights work but no LCD at all...

    Resolution was to reseat memory.

So if you ever power up and hear 4 beeps, reseat memory.

    Thanks,

    stevenX

Actually i need to comment further. The memory needed to not only be reseated but reversed. I dont know why, as memory is standard and usually doesnt matter which goes in which slot but for some reason the memory on the bottom fit better on the top and the memory on the top fit better in the bottom.. Weird but true. I am loading up the 60gb ssd right now with W7. Thank so everyone for their help!

In closing let me say that I can't necessarily fault this on Dell. I will assume positive intent and say it was FEDEX!!!!!!!!

    Best Wishes,

    StevenX
