Either way Dell doesn't usually check the information. All they ask is the school's name and done. Rep MIGHT ask but highly not. I phoned couple of reps and they all just took down my school's name and EPP discount was applied.

Dells reps lie all day everyday! They told me they didn't have such thing called EPP. Some told me it's only 7% vs 10%. Some told me after applying 10% + $50 coupon they couldn't add anymore discount because the computer "won't" let them and it shows red lettering saying ERROR. Such blunt lies...

Yes there's an EPP program in Canada

The standard EPP Discounts for Canada ( At least where I work anyway...) are:

7% for system over $799 ($699 for Inspiron)
9% for system between $799-$1500 with 3 year NBD Warranty
12% for system over $1500 with 3 year NBD Warranty

It's only available by calling the EPP line and they most of the time they ask for your EPP number.
