M11x Ordering Advice

So despite some of the criticisms on these forums about Dell; Dell's customer service; the quality of the their products and so on -- I've finally caved to the sexiness and decided to order myself an Alienware M11x. Before ordering though I'd like to have some input from the more experienced on these forums. Keep in mind that I'm up in Canada. It's my understanding that student discounts can be put into effect for Dell products? Additionally I've found a coupon here: http://chris.pirillo.com/alienware-coupons/

That's one tasty looking config for a decent price. Thus I'm wondering if there's any general ordering advice you guys would have to offer. Also, how does one put the a student discount into effect? Are there more coupons out there I'm not aware of? Can the coupons stack? Is it best to order online or by phone? Thanks a lot and I hope to join the ranks of happy M11x owners on these forums soon.

EDIT: durrh that coupon leads to the american site but the current Signature Sale is essentially the same as the american link.
