Just picked up an M11x at Best Buy a few days ago. Overall extremely happy with the machine. My problem however is that I'm getting no audio out of the left speaker. Ive looked at the service manual and it looks as though both speakers use the same connection so I'm unfortunately unwilling to bet its just a loose connection although I did re-seat it anyway. Of course my local Best Buy no longer has them in stock so Im going to have to drive a lot further to make an exchange. Before I make the trip does anyone have any other simple suggestions? Im guessing not but figured it couldnt hurt to ask! :(

The speakers are actually not placed symmetrically. So at first I thought something was wrong too, but now I'm used to it and it doesn't bother me :)

Of course,I cannot hear what your system sounds like. But maybe this is what's up.
    Hope it helps!

Thanks for the suggestion. I did notice they weren't symmetrical, but I actually get no output at all from the left speaker. In the control panel you can shift sound from left to right and I get no output when shifted to left.

only solutiong i can think of is to ask BB to ship you a replacement. what u need to do now is to inform BB about the issue before your 14 days is up.
