Hey all! I just received my M11x a few days ago and I also purchased the new Cisco E3000 dual band router. The router runs both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz at the same time. My wife has a Macbook and gets a great signal at 5Ghz but the M11x gets about half the signal. The M11x has the Dell Wifi card in it. I was wondering how many people have switched the card to the Intel 6200 and how much of a difference you have seen. Thanks in advance!

Yeah, the Dell Wireless/broadcom cards that are default in many Alienware/Dell laptops connect poorly, especially on the 5GHz band.
Intel WiFi cards work much better.

Where are people picking up these cards? I picked up an Intel 5100 off ebay. Unfortunately it was a crappy counterfeit card and caused my machine to BSOD. Also had a horrible solder job.

picked mine off ebay, look for ones where they've sold a number of them and have no negative feedback about them. 6200 come and go on ebay but when they do they go fast, maybe babyhemi can get his hands on them? he's pretty reliable in terms of buying stuff off him. I would give him a message. though the 6300 would work inside the m11x as well just minus the one antenna.
