Hi! I'm in the market for a M11x to compliment my current M15x. It seems that most of you guys (at least people ordering from Dell US) are applying a few coupons so the final price goes down quite a bit. I recall one guy getting a M11x with SU7300, 4 GB of RAM and a 320 GB HD for about 800 $ shipped (including taxes).

I'm Canadian and I have to order through dell.ca. The same setup as above is 1199 $ + taxes (Canadian $). That's 1335 $ Canadian (inc. taxes and shipping). Not that's not a bad deal, but with the almost parity of Canadian vs US dollars nowadays, 1335 $ is a bit hefty. Is there any coupons online (for Canada)? Any way to place the order over the phone and get 100 or 200 $ discount on that configuration? What do you think guys?

I haven't seen any so far...I just gave up and ordered the system anyways.

To be honest, despite Dell Canada offering lame coupons, the M11x is still a great deal for what you get.

I've been watching redflagdeals.com. for coupons. Eventually the price will drop. It's priced for early adopters. Pretty sure it will drop 10-15% soon.

It sounds like a lot of our American forum brethren have been able to haggle down the price on Alienware stuff by ordering over the phone. I was actually curious if any Canadians have been able to do this, as it sounds like they're not very eager to cut a deal with any non-Americans...

The most I could haggle was 60 off so I decided to wait 1-2 weeks so hopefully something comes up. Even the UK got a deal so hopefully canadians get something soon!

This laptop is a major hit for Dell, i wouldn't hold my breath waiting for price drops while the people who order have to wait 3-4 weeks to receive theirs.

Have you tried to use US coupons (EPP) in Canada? I heard they might work.
