Hi! I have a M11x on order. I would like to use that laptop for web browsing on the go. For that matter, I need a user friendly and reliable touchpad. On my M15x, the touchpad doesn't have multi-gesture support (like 2 fingers scroll, etc.). Also, the pointer is jerky.

So, on the M11x, how is the touchpad usable for user-friendly web browsing?

    -Is the touchpad smooth?
-Is it supporting multi touch? For instance, the 2 fingers scroll, the 3 fingers swipe ("previous page").

    Thanks in advance!

You don't need scrybe, just the driver that scrybe likes. you can install and uninstall scrybe as you like once you have that driver.

    Hi,
I've been using the M-11x for one week now, mostly with an USB mouse. I just tried the touchpad with most recent synaptics drivers; and I love it !
    It indeed supports multi-touch ( I made a video of it if you're interested : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_qG5CSGNg_g )

Plus, synaptics configuration panel allow a lot of options to be customized, like some kind of inertia with the mouse cursor that I personally find really useful.

    Hope I've helped.

edit : By the way, I did NOT install Scrybe, I simply updated the touchpad drivers from the official Synaptics website and every single gesture performed on the video is provided by this driver ( same thing goes for the "inertia" I was talking about )
