    Hey,

I wanted to connect my M11x via HDMI to a friend's Bang & Olufsen Beovision Flat TV. As it turned out, this TV is absolutely ATROCIOUS to configure!

So, as this is no B&O forum and I don't expect you to know how to setup a B&O TV, can you please tell me, if there's anything else to do on my M11x, than plugging in the HDMI cable and connect the cable to a TV? That's all, right? I don't need to hit FN + F1 or go to Start, Connection with a projector?

I'd be great if I could tick that problem off my list. Thanks!

Okay, that's the same as Start, Connection with a projector. So the issue is the TV...

Do you not get any picture or sound? I would check your display properties, and only show the display on 2nd output device. This way you can adjust the resolution for just the TV display.

On my Pioneer plasma, I just have to make sure the TV is set on the right input, make sure that I'm running with the nVidia external graphics (i.e., Performance mode) because the internal Intel won't output to HDMI, and then just plug in teh HDMI cable. No need to hit the Fn + F7 or whatever the projector toggle is on the m11x.
