M11x: Subjective & Ojective issues

Objective: The one obvious issue ATM is that some units can not handle the OC due (most likely) to the voltage drop, so focussing on the more "subjective" issues being reported:


1. Fan noise: Is the device too loud in a quiet environment, so would disturb others, or for that matter, the actual user? Fluctuates up and down much?

2. Screen quality: Bright & vivid?

3. Screen glossiness: Are people getting used to it, or is it becoming annoying? Seems to be almost mirror-like, which would seem annoying unless in near-darkness.

4. Speaker volume & quality: CW27FX has some of the worst speakers ever- tinny and no volume. M11x have pretty good sound for a small lappy?

5. Power supply gets hot: Reports are that it gets pretty warm, but is rated at 65 watts. Should have plenty of capacity not to create a power draw resulting in a lot of heat. Is it really hot?

6. M11x gets hot: I could see this if the vents were blocked some, but what if all clear? Does it get hot when 3D gaming?

There may be more issues, but those seem to be the main ones floating around ATM. Any current owners views on the issues are approeciated!

I would check myself, but have no clue when mine will arrive.
