    Hi Guys.
ok, so i ordered an M11x about a week ago from Dell uk web site ordered the standard spec £749 inc VAT/Delivery. since then have read probably half a dozen reviews plus lots off the forum, and so many people say the same, great all round laptop but needs slightly faster CPU for optimum gaming performance.Am wondering if i should cancel order and wait for new CPU options. plus how many unhappy people will there be if a higher CPU option is avalible adding 20% more performance over there R1s.

If you want melt your face off framerates, this will never be the laptop for you. The current configuration is fine for playable framerates with plenty of eyecandy at a great price. I have had mine for a couple of days now and I am obscenely happy with it. It has exceeded my expectations and I am pretty picky when it comes to technology. There is always something slightly better on the horizon. I recommend you pull the trigger and enjoy yourself today! ;)

Exceeded my expectations also, one thing though. Why didnt you order it when the offer was on with the upgraded CPU for £720 starting price!

There is not much difference if any at all in the 2 processors, see the su4100 vs su7300 thread. The only true difference in virtualization, difference in performance is negligible, when the two processors were released they were both around the same price, it is dell not intel charging the higher tag.

    - More on topic with this post though I wouldn't care if they did upgrade to iX processors, it will end up being the cULV version of it either way with a minor increase, as it stands this thing is the bees knees.

You can wait forever, technology always advanced. But here's a thing: if they're going to release a new model of the laptop (refresh) very soon, it makes sense to wait. On the other hand if they JUST released a laptop, it may pass quite a while until the refresh and you may wait a bit. :)

True that, I don't get why people bash the processors or talk like another model is a week away. Newly released product is newly released
