Ive seen the question asked but not answered. Just to make sure, will a laptop with a Killer Bigfoot wireless network card work successfully with WiDi? Im thinking about buying a 1103 card with my m11x r3 which is working well with the Belkin screencast to my hdtv.
Thanks in advance!

WiHD has far more stable signal, less lag and higher bandwidth. You can use your computer while streaming to the tv!
WiDi is cheaper. -
I just got a pstv2000 and am having a helluva time getting this working with my m17xr3 i7 2720qm, amd 6970, ultimate-n 6300
Ive tried numerous drivers, updated just about everything, and the same problem persists.
It connects for a few seconds, then disconnects and says "unable to send desktop to remote display".
Ive tried most everything I can think of. Help a brother out!? -

Hey guys,
I'm getting my Alienware M17xR4 soon with a Ivy Bridge 3610QM processor, 7970M HD GFX and the Killer 1103 3x3 wireless card.
If I install all the necessary software with downloads and buy the WiDi adapter from one of the few manufactures that make them would I be able to run WiDi? The Dell/Alienware website mentions nothing of it and I don't think Alienware have any "stickers" on them. -
Does anyone know?

Appears it's impossible to find an answer. Can't see any definitive answers on Google either.
