So i had the hinge problem on my m15x, which was fixed.. (m15x was bought... may 08?- around then ).

I recently fixed my m15x during the summer... and yeah it's really sturdy..

Usually at home I use my laptop with hdtv, so I didn't notice this problem....

Anyone else have... lines.... on their [laptop] screen.. on the side.. it seems like they tightened the hinge so much that the screen is too pressed... i have white/pink lines running down the right side of my screen. :S

sounds like a bad screen if it doesn't happen connecting to an external source. Could also be your cable/s or inverter.
