    Does anyone have a heatsink for the M15X and the ATI HD3870 GPU ??? If so please let me know. God Bless :)

    Wouldn't surprise me if Jdeluna wanted to try out the 4850/4870 in the m15x, he did it with the GTX 280m

    Good luck acquiring a 4800 series mobile GPU. If I could get a 4870, I'd try it myself, in the M860ETU, with no hesitation.

    :D If the HD4850 / 4870 was available somewhere to purchase, Yes I would have purchased it to try. However I do have a ATI HD3870 that came from Alienware that I know will work on the M15X. I just wanted to see what it can do. If anyone has the heatsink for sale or knows where I can obtain one, please let me know. Thanks and God Bless :)

    no dice, sorry. sold my 8800m-gtx heatsink to shoot2kill, he's gonna do the GTX 280M conversion as well.
