    john: will there be any updates in the near future for m15x?
    Umar K.: At the moment, there has been no word on future updates to the M15X until more significant technology comes out

    looks like the m15x wont get a montenva based processor update but the one after that, approximately released q3-q4

    Did you ask one of the online sales support agents? These people aren't very reliable when it comes to these technical questions.

    lol more then likley its gonna be a new laptop then just a board change. Never know though, the m15x is old and has been out a while. It may stick around like the m9750 which would make sense because its a smaller laptop and most people are going to smaller laptops. I think they will come out with a new 15 inch, at like end of this year and dump the m17x some time for a better 17 inch desktop replacement, say a core i7m..

    so im thinking a m17 m15x and 2 mystery models(sorry, but the m9750 is gonna get axed)

    I'm surprised that AW still keeps the m9750 going. It's lasting pretty long. But, I really hope that they 'axe' the m9750 because I want to see some new laptops. Come on AW!

    that mean...
    maybe there will be a new 15" model tomorrow, or maybe never.
    btw, there is some forum say the next gen AW notebook will be 16:9 widescreen.
