M15X start up alienfx problem

I want to know if you guys have had the same problem, some times when I power on my laptop the touch-pad, the alienhead, and the touch controls do not turn on. I have to wait like a minute for them to light up. Has anyone had this problem?

 

is my m15x defective?

 

sounds fine. maybe you have too many startup programs.

 

Which command centre do you run? Also, can you define your problem a little more? Which alienhead do you mean? The one at the back, or the powerbutton?

Though Command Centre A05 works mostly for the M15X, it does have strange behaviour sometimes. I would advice going back to A03 if you are running a05

 

both alienheads sometimes are off while I boot up

 

Sorry for the thread Resurrection guys,
Im having (sort-of) the same thing with my M15X
On starting from cold the alien head and the 3 right hand segments of the keyboard light up but not the rest (this is before booting into the OS)
And then when in windows i can launch AlienFX controller to turn on the rest,
When i first got my laptop it didnt do this, all lights turned on blue before booting to OS - this all seems to be linked to the AlienFX board F/W updating - My question is, is it possible to get my full theme to be programmed into the AleinFX board so that it all runs before it hits the OS so i dont have to run the Alien-bloatware?
