    Sorry if someone has posted this in the past, I want to know what hardware AlienW uses, what I am after is manufacturer of LCD, ssd, hdd, dvd.

    The most important for me is the ssd, because if good- I might get the stock one, if one of the slower I'll get the hdd ( but nice to know manufacture here as well, if going for the ssd, I'll still need something for the smart bay)

    I know that they might use different manufactures here, however this might not be the case. :mask:

    Don't have an SSD so I can't help you there.

    HDD: Hitachi HTS722020K9A300 (200gb)
    LCD: LG LPLDF00
    DVD: Optiarc DVD RW AD-5540A

    Also not sure if AW sticks to one supplier for all of these, or uses multiple a la Dell.

    even though this is not for the m15x, maybe it uses the same thing...

    ssd is the samsung 57/37 read/write or whatever one, with 0.3 ms response time. not the new sata IIs :1
