absolutely, it looks MUCH better, has a better keyboard (in my opinion) and has amazingly better cooling

Yeah I was very excited about that. I told them the only way I will order is if the GPU was discounted. Puts me on hold and comes back and says "how would you like the GPU upgrade and keep the system at $1499.99?

I had an amazing deal back in July on my M17x and also got free next day shipping and after a little work with my customer service rep a free orion backpack as well

How would I go about pulling off the backpack deal if I got a free 200.00 GPU upgrade and shipping? Not sure how to request without sounding like a total jerk.

 

I just mentioned to my rep I was interested and let him tell me that the orion (what I knew I wanted) was designed just for the alienware backpacks (right...lol). Then I mentioned I needed it for school and when he told me the price I acted shocked and said I could not afford it after ordering a $3k laptop. He said he will see what he could do for me and came back with $25 off, I said still too much then he got me one for free a week later
