M15x (classic silver one) black screen

A week after getting it back from repair I have exactly the same problem as it left with, unfortunately this is the 6th time the laptop has failed to work and ive had it about 6 months. Anyway, i boot up the computer, it sounds as if it is booting up as usual, touchpad/lights work fine etc, but the screen remains off. Ive read another thread about the same thing, checking if it was the graphics card by using the integrated video card but neither worked. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

 

Mine just did this too. Backlight is on, no video.

 

You have 30 days usually from the date of receipt from a repair to address back to them that the issue has not been fix. You need to let them know that you want to send it back to service as the issue that it left with has not been fix. Did I say that twice???

 

I just called them, and since I just got it back from repair for the hinge 6 days ago (which they did for free, despite the fact my warranty is up), and they're going to fix it again for, you guessed it, free.
