Can anyone post some pics of this resolution on the M15x? I'm thinking about buying one soon, but I'm not sure whether I want the 1600x900 resolution or the 1920x1200. Thanks!

the other screen res for the M15x is 1920x1080. I can tell you that the M17 you own with the 1920x1200 res will match the M15x's 15inch screen with 1920x1080. They should be fairly similar (i.e. text size) when comparing actual screen size to resolution.
The 1600x900 text size might almost double in size. -
electrosoft Perpetualist Matrixist
M15X = 15.6 @ 1920x1080 = 141.21 DPI (+8~)
M17 = 17.0 @ 1920x1200 = 133.19 DPI
M15X = 15.6 @ 1600x900 = 117.68 DPI (-16~)
If you find 1920x1200 very easy on your eyes, go for 1920x1080. If you find it a strain, have to increase scaling and have any type of issues, go with 1600x900. Your eyes will thank you for it. -
Damn electrosoft, seems like you've been doing your research on the difference in resolutions. Thanks for answering my question, I'm not going for the blu-ray drive so I'm probably going for the 1600x900 resolution. Plus I remember someone posting that 720p compared to 1080p really not much of a difference so I'm sold with 1600x900 resolution. Just going to be doing gaming mainly and I would like to max all my graphic options on my native resolution.
