    Yeah, I know, man. I meant to say BIOS, and I said it doesn't help at all because WestCoastGeek mentioned it helped him.

    I have an m17x and am running 8800GTX in Sli. At the moment i'm using the 177.73 drivers which although working fine, don't allow power DVD to run at all (it crashes) and my 3dMark score was lower than Alienwares.
    What is the best driver for Sli, or should i use the Alienware driver and wait for them to update it?

    I'm only asking because i want to watch Blu-Ray...

    OB: try that place whizzo and a few others have mentioned where they do re-works of drivers from desktop gpu's to laptop gpu's...
    can not remember the name right off...if i find it i will post it.

    thats all i can think of at the moment.

    does anyone here have downclocking issues when using the lv2g drivers? is that why they say to stick to the aw drivers?

    the newest drivers are suppose to downclock the gpu when it is idle.
